Working with insurance claims both in New Zealand and internationally since 1993, Mathew has significant experience in the field of Loss Adjusting and as a Senior Claims Manager.
Throughout his career he has developed a wealth of experience in managing Property, Construction, Energy and Power losses in New Zealand, Australia, UK, Caribbean and across the Asia Pacific region.
In addition to his claims handling expertise, Mathew has a proven ability to maintain a client focus in complex claims, identify the key issues, and work through strategies with multiple parties to achieve suitable outcomes for all stakeholders.
National Operations Manager
Kate is currently on secondment working with the EQC.
Kate is well respected in the insurance industry with over 20 years experience. She has done everything from handling technical claims, developing and training out processes to managing large teams for both commercial and residential claims.
Kate is very experienced in people management, developing processes and strategy to drive the desired outcomes and is a great communicator who has a reputation of getting the job done.
National Technical Manager
Neal has extensive experience with a career spanning both the New Zealand building industry and the Police Force.
Accomplished in all aspects of project and construction management, quantity surveying and general business operations, his vast knowledge of the building industry standards and codes ensures that all projects are delivered effectively. Having been heavily involved in the Canterbury and Kaikoura earthquake repair programmes, Neal’s ability to perform under pressure is second to none.
As a Licensed Building Practitioner any problem on a building can be resolved with Neal’s expertise.
Quantity Surveyor
Phil has an honours degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management with over 19 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor.
Phil has worked across the United Kingdom with the last 7 years living and working on a number of large-scale projects in New Zealand.
Phil has experience in both commercial and residential construction, which ensures any project, no matter the size, will benefit from his vast experience.
Senior Project Manager
With over 30 years’ experience working in project management, Chris is highly respected in the insurance industry for the delivery of reinstatement work.
Chris has undertaken all level of projects from insurance repair works on personal homes through to reinstatement of industrial and commercial buildings.
Chris is a specialist in fire reinstatements and building assessments for insurance related projects.
Project Manager
Hayden completed an apprenticeship in carpentry in 2004 and has worked as a builder/foreman for 7 years becoming a LBP (Licensed Building Practitioner).
After the earthquakes in Christchurch in 2011, Hayden worked as a Project Manager for Patterson's and has been with Mode working as a Project Manager since 2017.
Construction Project Manager
Mark has over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, originally doing his carpenters apprenticeship in the Auckland City Region.
Mark moved to Western Australia where he worked extensively for the WA Department of Finance and other state government facilities before running his own company working in residential and light commercial.
Mark has a Diploma of Builders Registration (NZ LBP equivalent) and Certificate 4 in Health and Safety. He has extensive experience in project management, consulting and estimating. Mark is currently studying for a Diploma of WHS and Diploma in Project Management.
Project Manager
Jen is a project manager for Mode since June 2018. Prior to that Jen was employed as a Project Manager and supervisor of the Insurance Division at Wellington Building Services for 5 years where she assessed damaged properties and managed the end to end reinstatement work on construction jobs.
Jen has also worked for joinery, timber and manufacturer of furniture companies where she has developed a sound understanding of construction methodology and processes.
